Law by Decree No. 22 of 2017 Concerning Repealing Legislation Related to Exemption From Paying Taxes and Service Fees in the Southern Governorates

In accordance with the provisions of the Amended Basic Law of 2003 and its Amendments, particularly Article 43 thereunder,
The provisions of the Law by Decree No. 10 of 2017 on exempting citizens and taxpayers in the southern governorates from paying taxes and service fees,
The provisions of Presidential Decree No. 18 of 2007 on exempting citizens in the southern governorates from paying taxes and fees,
And based upon the recommendation of the Council of Ministers on 28/11/2017,
Based upon the powers bestowed upon me, and
In accomplishment of the public interest,
In the name of the Arab Palestinian people,
I hereby promulgate the following Law by Decree:
Article 1
The following legislation shall be repealed:
1. Decree Law No. 10 of 2017 on exempting citizens and taxpayers in the southern governorates from paying taxes and service fees.
2. Decree No. 18 of 2007 on exempting citizens in the southern governorates from taxes and fees.
Article 2
All provisions that contradict the provisions of this Law by Decree shall be repealed.
Article 3
This Law by Decree shall be presented to the Legislative Council in the first session it convenes for approval.
Article 4
All the competent authorities, each one within its sphere of jurisdiction, shall implement the provisions of this Law by Decree, which shall enter into force as of the date of its promulgation and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
