Decision No. 81 of 2012 Concerning the Establishment and Formation of the Military Judicial Technical Office

The Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation

The President of the Palestinian National Authority

The Commander-in-Chief of the Palestinian Forces

In reference of the provisions of the Amended Basic Law of 2003 and its Amendments,

Having reviewed the Revolutionary Law of Penal Procedure of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation of 1979,

Based upon the recommendation of the Chairman of the Military Justice Authority, dated July 3^rd, 2012,

Based upon the powers bestowed upon me, and

In accomplishment of the public interest,

I hereby promulgate the following Decision:

Article 1

In pursuance of the provisions of this Decision, a department to be called the "Department of the Military Judicial Technical Office" shall be established within the Military Justice Authority.

Article 2

The Department of the Military Judicial Technical Office shall be formed as follows:

1. Lieutenant Colonel Judge Ahmed Abdul Salam Hasan Abu Dayyeh, as Director of the Department, on a secondment basis in addition to his position.

2. Jurist Major Majed Amin Yousef al-Sammar, as member of a Special Court.

3. Lieutenant Colonel Judge Tawfiq Mansour Uthman Abu Nasser, as a seconded member in addition to his position.

4. Jurist Captain Nu'man Abdul Rahman Fannoun, as a seconded member in addition to his position.

Article 3

All provisions that contradict the provisions of this Decision shall be repealed.

Article 4

All the competent authorities, each one within its sphere of jurisdiction, shall implement the provisions of this Decision, which shall enter into force as of the date of its promulgation and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
